Dark Shadow AI is a desktop application that converts photographs of tools into 3D-printable shadow boards. It is created and operated as an independent software product. You can contact us through the feedback form.

Dark Shadow AI uses a local AI vision model to detect and trace tools in your photos. This model runs entirely on your device using your CPU. Your photos are never uploaded to any server for AI processing — the model weights are downloaded to your computer on first use and all inference happens locally, offline, and privately.
Dark Shadow AI makes exactly one category of optional network request:
When a paid subscription tier is introduced, a license validation request will be sent to our payment processor (LemonSqueezy) to verify your license key. This request contains only the license key itself — no personal data, photos, or project files.
This website includes an optional feedback form. If you choose to submit it, the name, email address (both optional), and message you enter are transmitted to a Cloudflare Worker and stored in a private database accessible only to the Dark Shadow AI creator. This data is used solely to respond to feedback and improve the app. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing without your consent.
This website does not use cookies, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or any third-party scripts. There is no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar service on this site.
Dark Shadow AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the feedback form, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Since we do not collect data from the app, there is nothing to retain or delete on our end. Feedback form submissions are retained until you request deletion through the feedback form.
If you submitted feedback through our website and wish to access, correct, or delete that information, contact us through the feedback form and we will respond within 30 days.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app or website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
